Dr Kevin Koo adalah Dokter Ahli Bedah Ortopedi yang berpengalaman praktik dan sebelumnya beliau adalah Direktur Foot and Ankle Service di Singapore General Hospital dengan pengalaman lebih dari 20 tahun. Beliau adalah Asisten Profesor di Sekolah Kedokteran NUS Yong Loo Lin serta Sekolah Kedokteran Duke-NUS. Beliau menyelesaikan praktik medisnya di Fakultas Kedokteran, National University of Singapore (NUS) pada tahun 2003. Beliau diangkat sebagai Anggota Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Inggris, pada tahun 2009 dan selanjutnya sebagai Anggota Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK (Orthopaedics and Trauma) pada tahun 2014. Beliau juga memperoleh gelar Master of Medicine (Orthopaedic Surgery) dari National University of Singapore pada tahun 2013 dan ditunjuk sebagai Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore pada tahun 2015.
Dr Koo menjalani beasiswa satu tahun dari penghargaan Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) di Rumah Sakit St. Mary dan Charing Cross, Imperial College Healthcare di London, Inggris, dimana beliau belajar langsung dengan ahli bedah yang diakui secara internasional dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam tim manajemen elit atlet dan penari profesional.
Minat beliau meliputi bedah kaki dan pergelangan kaki, penggantian sendi, cedera olahraga, dan bedah invasif minimal. Dia telah mempresentasikan pengetahuannya secara luas di konferensi internasional, regional dan lokal termasuk pada American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) yang bergengsi serta pertemuan ilmiah tahunan British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH). Beliau juga telah menerbitkan di berbagai jurnal medis peer-review, dan secara aktif terlibat dalam mendidik dokter-dokter junior.
